Mobi International is a sister company to disability equipment provider, Push Mobility and the Australian charity organisation, Accessible Beaches . Founder Shane Hryhorec has been instrumental in the transformation of beaches around Australia. Working with councils and surf life saving clubs he has rolled out over 3km of Mobi-Path on over 50 beaches, creating stable and accessible pathways on the sand for people with disabilities, as well as parents with strollers, the elderly and beachgoers.

They were founded in 1860 in Europe and have a long history of developing and manufacturing ground mobility equipment. The Deschamps portable Mobi-mat® range was originally designed for U.S. Marines Corps vehicular beach landing operations and has been used extensively worldwide.

Shane Hryhorec:

Managing Director, Shane Hryhorec, is an entrepreneur and passionate advocate for people with disabilities. Shane grew up in South Australia participating in many sports including football, swimming and triathlons. In 2007, Shane broke his neck and drowned in a swimming pool accident. He spent five days in a coma, his life as he knew it changed forever. Shane chose to see this as an opportunity to develop a business that could help improve equality for people with disabilities. His mission in life and in business is to educate society about inclusivity and improve accessibility. Since founding his first company Push Mobility - one of the leading manual wheelchair providers in Australia, Shane has helped develop the successful charity Accessible Beaches and is also Managing Director of Mobi International.
